A Polytechnic teacher has the following responsibilities  which include;

a).Ensuring  development of curricula and planning course content and instructional methods.

b). Instruct and supervise students in the use of tools, equipment, and materials.

c. Evaluating students work to check on progress and provide feedback.

d. Ensuring administration of tests to measure progress and assess competency in students.

e)To maintain records such as grades, students attendance, plus the training activity details.

f) To supervise projects,check field placements, check laboratory work, or doing other training activities.

g) provision of individualized or remedial instruction to students.
