Notably, president Ruto promised that going forward, his administration will work towards ensuring that all milk farmers get paid after every 15 days .
This bimonthly payment method to workers as per to the president will enable the farmers be able to meet the animal feeds costs among other expenses.
He further did not to forget condemning the current state of affairs where the cooperatives are withholding the farmers salary up to a period of 2 months hence making their farming a great challenge.
