Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has issued a tough warning to all parents or guardians about the possibility of their children missing the 2024 KCSE exams.
According to KNEC, there is a possibility of errors in the registration process of students .
The council issued issued a notice on March 22, advising all parents to ensure that their children are registered for the examination before closure of registration this month.
As per to the notice, the council has asked Parents and guardians to visit schools to ascertain the status of registration of their children.
The parents should also ensure that they confirm that all details captured in the registration portal are correct.
At the same time, parents and schools should also to pay attention to the photographs captured in the registration of the students.
The council had warned that there would be no extension given to parents thus need to adhere to the timelines issued by the examination council.
The registration deadline for 2024 KCSE examination is set for Friday, March 29,2024 when the portal for registration closes.
Parents are expected to use the remaining one week from now since requests for late registration will not be honoured.

During registration, some of the important requirements for include the valid student’s birth certificate details and clear index numbers.
In addition, the photographs expected to be clear since they are usually captured and added to the printed KCSE certificates.
KNEC registration portal was Opened on January 29th, 2024 for both KPSEA and KCSE students who will sit for exams .
