Other Allowances p.m
The monthly house allowance of these teachers is determined by the cluster of the place of work.
For instance , the teachers in Nairobi City are entitled to a house allowance of Ksh. 10,000 per month.
Under Cluster 2 that covers areas like Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru Cities, Nyeri, Eldoret, Malindi, Thika, Kisii and Kitale Municipalities and their house allowance is Ksh. 7,500 per month.
Those teachers under Cluster 3, covering other former municipalities get a house allowance of Ksh. 5,800.
TSC pays these teachers house allowances are designed to help them afford suitable accommodation in their respective duty stations.

For primary teachers working in hardship areas , they are entitled to hardship allowance, amounting to Ksh 8,200 perm month.
The money is designed to compensate for the challenging living conditions often faced in these areas.

To ease their transport to and from place of work ,they also get a commuter allowance of Ksh 4,000 .
TSC also pays Primary Teacher I an annual leave allowance of Ksh 4,000.
For those with disability , they are paid guide allowance of Ksh 20,000 to support their guides and also allow them to have access to the necessary resources and support to carry out their duties as expected.
