TSC Notes Errors, Listed Promoted Teachers Miss in Promotion list

Teachers Service Commission (TSC) officials noted and acknowledged presence of  errors in the just released list of promoted teachers who are to get promotion letters.

According to the TSC County and Regional Directors , the various evident errors and misprints should  be taken as  normal in such exercises .

They have asked those teachers who missed their names in the list should not be too worried.

TSC made public in a list of 724 pages on its website , a comprehensive list of  details of 36,505 teachers who were successfully promoted following interviews that were conducted December and January, this year.

Several teachers have however expressed their dissatisfaction questioning the interview results released by the Commission with majority getting shocks.

The affected teachers have now been asked to  wait for the TSC promotion letters that  which clear the errors witnessed in the list.

All those teachers who were successful will get SMS from the TSC County and Sub -County offices , the messages to that will be inviting them to pick their promotion letters.

The members from the teachers’ unions  both KNUT and  KUPPET now want TSC for avoidance of doubt and transparency to publish all  the names of the promoted teachers showing  their counties and sub-counties.

A total  of 36,505 successful teachers will be issued with promotional letters  and later get posted to schools but after submitting  the  required five Chapter six documents.

Teachers who will get promotion letters will be posted in various stations and TSC shall effect on their new monthly salary and allowances that are expected to improve.

Those who have been serving under the same station under acting capacity and we’re successful during interviews are likely to be retained in the same station but assuming official roles with immediate effect after getting letters.
