Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has published a comprehensive list of teachers who get letters after successfully promoted following TSC promotions interviews for December and January,2024.
TSC released a list with 724 pages that is published on TSC website carrying on the teachers TSC numbers and the applied advert numbers for those who were successful in interviews.
All the successful 36,505 teachers will now start being issued with promotional letters after they have submitted five of Chapter six documents.
Given here is are the five documents that are mandatory inline with Chapter six of the Kenyan Constitution focusing on the theme Leadership and Integrity of officers.
- Individual teacher’s Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) cost is 1,050/-
- Individual teacher’s Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) cost is Free
- Individual teacher’s Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) cost is Free
- Individual teacher’s Clearance from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) cost is Free
- Individual teacher’s Clearance Certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) cost is 2,200/-
The commission will also release to the unsuccessful teachers regret letters that will serve as evidence of their interview attendance.
Those teachers promoted to administrative positions especially deputy and headteacher positions should wait forposting letters outside their sub counties but within the county.
However those promoted to senior teacher positions will be posted to schools with vacancies within their sub counties.
On the other side , those teachers who have been serving under acting positions and confirmed will be retained in the schools where they have been acting for years.
TSC promotions have come at the right time more especially to the teachers that have been stagnated in the same job groups for several years.
A good number of primary school teachers received the promotions with a lot of joy in that the issue of job stagnation has been affecting them for several years.
Some teachers had stayed in the same job group for more than 10 years without promotion.
