The teachers employer top official has revealed long awaited Fate of teachers who attended promotions for Teachers Service Commission (TSC) conducted in December and January 2024.
In a viral clip that has so far gone viral, Jamleck Muturi TSC Chairperson while addressing teachers that had attended the Mwalimu National Sacco Annual General Conference (AGM) in Meru , announced that everything is set ready for the release of promotion letters to teachers.
According to,those teachers who attended interviews should be optimistic as TSC has so far completed printing of the letters which will be released this week.
Muturi indicated that On twenty fourth of January , the commission finalized everything and it is going to promote 36,505 teachers.
He further said the in last year, 2023 to this year February, the commission will mark over fifty one thousand promotions for teachers.
The TSC chairman extended appreciation from teachers following a huge number of teacher promotions to Kenya Kwanza government headed by president William Ruto.
These announcement goes hand in hand with TSC Chief Executive, Dr. Nancy Macharia’s last week announcement where she said that 36,000 promotion letters will start trickling down to counties in a weeks time.
When the commission released an advertisement for promotions of teachers , there were over one hundred and fifty thousand primary and post primary school teachers who were shortlisted for interviews.
Several also attended promotion interviews and now are waited with bated breath for the letters.

TSC issues long awaited promotions letters to successful and regret letters to unsuccessful teachers who attended the interviews.
The successful in the interviews will be required to produce a list of documents which were listed in the interviews advertisement.
The documents are mainly the chapter six requirements of the constitution which the commission declares key for individual assuming administrative roles after getting posting letters to be posted in various schools in the country
