Students can easily make payment for Kenya University and Colleges Central Placement Service (Kuccps) for online application through the newly recommended eCitizen portal.
They can also simply check to confirm whether Payment made through eCitizen has reflected on the portal.
For purposes of easier operations during selection and application for courses while at the portal, these details are necessary before you start your application.

1.Payment for KUCCPS Application through eCitizen Portal
- Ensure you Open a payment page as a new tab
- Make payment of the indicated amount
- Do a selection of your preferred payment method then follow the instructions.
- With those using M-Pesa Option,ensure you follow the provided steps for paying through the Government e-Citizen whose Paybill Number 222222.
- This will be followed by entering the provided account number and pay the indicated amount, upon payment you will receive a confirmation SMS notice from M-Pesa
- Then you can go back to Kuccps online application dashboard to key in the account number under payment reference
- Lastly tap on ok button to Submit
Note that you are required to use the provided account number but careful not to use the M-Pesa transaction code .
Upon doing the correct thing, within a few seconds the system will display a notification that the application is successful.
Incase of an mistake, ensure that you repeat the process but do not pay again.
You will only be required to re-enter the account number from the previous payment and submit.

2.Confirming KUCCPS Application Payment Status on eCitizen
Inorder to check whether your payment has been reflected on the eCitizen portal for the KUCCPS Application , follow this steps;
- Using your phone network dial *222# on your Mobile Phone
- Make a selection of option 6 ‘Check Payment’
- Key in Payment Reference (Account)which you used and Send
- Key in the M-Pesa Code and tap send.
Incase you made payments and entered the details correctly, the portal will inform you that the invoice has been paid so as to proceed with your application.
