TSC Issues 5 Final Promotion Checklist documents for Teachers

TSC promotion letters for the primary and post-primary teachers who participated in the interviews are expected any time and every successful teacher must have these suggested checklist documents ready.

 TSC Boss, Dr Nancy Macharia declared that the long-awaited promotion letters will get distributed this week.

To that effect, teachers who did not secure a promotion, will be issued with  regret letters as a formal acknowledgment of their participation in the interviews.

All the successful candidates will receive promotional letters and for purposes of completion of the promotion process and facilitate their posting, TSC has provided a checklist for five crucial Chapter six documents .

TSC needs every teacher to submit these documents in adherence to the Kenyan Constitution’s standards on matters leadership and Integrity.

1.The first important document is certificate of good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) .To obtain this certificate, you need to pay a cost of ksh.1,050

This certificate serves  as a testament to an individual’s criminal record status.

2. Have a Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) which is issued free of charge.

The loan beneficiaries of helb  who are either current with repayments or within the grace period may get Loanee Compliance Certificate which is also free of charge.

3.Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) which is also issued free.The certificate holds a validity period of twelve months, which serves as a crucial factor to keep in mind for individuals and businesses alike.

4.Present a  Clearance from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission which is also issued free which requires applicants must adhere some  instructions before released as the commission provides the employing agency/panel with a confidential report on all short-listed applicants.

5. Certificate of Clearance from an approved Credit Reference Bureau CRB  which is issued at a standard fee of Kshs.2200.

The importance of the documents above is ensuring leadership and integrity of officers to be hired and submitting these documents helps too to facilitate a seamless transition into their promoted positions.
