Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced opening of applications from suitable candidates to fill 789 job vacancies in the civil service.
According to the PSC notice released on February 27th, the commission asked all interested Kenyans to submit applications through the commission’s portal by March 19, 2024.
Part of the notice indicated that all interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the Commission website at www.publicservice.go.ke
Alternatively, applications can be made through jobs portal at www.psckjobs.go.ke inorder to reach the Commission on or before 19th March 2024 at or before 5 pm East African Time
The PSC announced advertised several job vacancies including the senior roles in the Ministry of Health such as;
- Director General of Health
- Deputy Director General for Health and Director
- Health Management Services
- Public Health.
There are also several positions ranging from middle to senior-level management positions which are also open in the Public Health and Professional Standards department.
The public commission has also opened 10 human resource information officers positions , 40 human resource management and development officers positions and 50 human resource management assistants 100 office administrators positions.
In addition, there are commission 300 assistant office administrators slots, 30 veterinary officers positions and more than 100 lecturers positions.

- Laboratory Technologist (6 slots )
- Assistant Leather Development Officer (7slots )
- Assistant Livestock Production Officer (10 slots )
- Registered Nurse (6 slots)
- Library Assistant (3 slots )
- Senior Principal Superintending Inspector of Explosives (3 slots )
- Assistant Director
- Artisanal Mining
- Quarrying Operations and Value Addition (2 slots)
- Chief Superintending Inspector of Explosives (8 slots )
- Senior Principal Laboratory Technologist (2 slots)
