Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS) has responded on Monday to concerns raised in challenges during application payment fees on eCitizen platform.
The response comes after several issues were raised on payment experienced challenges with the reflection of payments on the eCitizen platform.
Kuccps issued a a directive on all payments for course applications to be made through the eCitizen platform following orders from the government directive that all payments should be made through 222222 paybill.
Some applicants have made some payments and sent the transaction code, though the system displayed an ‘error.’
How to Make KUCCPS Payment through
- Ensure that you click on the payment link displayed on the KUCCPS portal.
- Then navigate and and pick on mobile money option (M-Pesa) and proceeded with payment of the bill and enter 222222
- Next enter your account number issued by KUCCPS.
Note that all the applicants are required to make a payment of Ksh1500 followed by mobile money PIN to complete the transaction.
Upon ensuring that the transaction is successful, an applicant will immediately receive a mobile money confirmation message on your phone.
Procedure for Check whether Payment Has Reflected on eCitizen
1: with your mobile phone dial *222#
2: Then select Option 6 for Checking Payment’
3: Key in the Payment Reference (Account) which you used and send
4:dial ok for the transaction code and click on send

5: for those who have paid and entered the details correctly, immediately you will be informed that the invoice for application application has been paid to Kuccps via eCitizen platform
