Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) released data showing that a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery is currently the most expensive undergraduate degrees course offered in Kenya.
Deep analysis shows that the most expensive degree programme in Kenya during 2022/2023 ,was Dental Surgery at Moi University where students were charged Ksh780,000.
Second expensive course is a degree in medicine and surgery is the country with many universities offering at above ksh.600,000
Students undertaking a degree in Medicine at Egerton University are charged Ksh643,940 in their first year as those joining University of Nairobi require Ksh635,000 .
KUCCPS further listed veterinary medicine courses to be among the top expensive in the country as the course in Egerton University and UoN charges Ksh516,340 and Ksh521,000 respectively per year.
Others in the list of expensive courses are Bachelor of Pharmacy course that costs Ksh492,660 at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). The same course costs Ksh487,000 at University of Nairobi.
Engineering Course
University of Nairobi offers this expensing programmes under mechanical,the electrical and civil engineering charging fees for those down degrees at Ksh441,000.
Also the Technical University of Kenya (TUK) offers the above courses at a cost of Ksh404,200.

The above Bachelor course in Kisii University costs Ksh289,935
as the same University of Nairobi costs Ksh281,350.

The course in Kisii University costs Ksh283,135 whereas in
