TSC appointment letters for Promotions to be Out starting Monday

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has completed the process of teacher promotions and the final list of successful candidates is expected to be out for teachers to start getting appointment letters .

TSC Human resource managers are expected to receive the list of successful teachers to do the printing of appointment letters for promotions in readiness for their dispatch stating Monday.

The commission is working around the clock to ensure that the process is being completed in good time so as to allow the it have time to deal with deployment of primary teachers to Junior Secondary Schools (JSS).

Those teachers above age 50 years as well as those with proven disability and also teachers who have held acting position of Head of Institution and Deputy Head of Institution are set to win big.

The TSC appointment letters for promotions will start being dispatched to various counties starting early next week depending on the speed of every  Human Resource unit.

By the end of March ,2023, all the successful teachers are expected  to have received  appointment letters and those who will be unsuccessful will receive have received regret letters.

When the interviews were conducted, the Commission listed a number of  items to be presented by candidates for consideration in promotion interviews.

Interested teacher candidates were asked to produce original national ID Card,all original academic and Professional certificates, the individual letter of appointment to the current Grade and letter of appointment to the current post.

They were also required to produce analysed individual subject results in the KCPE or the KCSE Examinations for the last three years which must be certified by TSC County Directors or the Sub County Directors of education.

The teachers were further required to present their performance appraisal Reports for  the years 2020, 2021 and 2022 respectively as well as any other relevant academic testimonials supporting their performance .

TSC further indicated that the successful students will have to produce five of the  chapter six documents which are in line with the constitution.
