The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) will consider awarding promotion letters to teachers above age 50 years ,those with proven disability and those that have held acting position of Head of Institution and Deputy Head of Institution .
The above three categories are expected to win big in the ongoing process of teacher promotions whose final list of successful candidates is expected to be out from next week .
The above teachers who attended interview stand high chance of getting appointment letters for promotions to the next level.
Human resource managers in the various TSC units are expected to start receiving the lists for the successful teachers and proceed with printing of their appointment letters for promotions.
The letters are expected to be ready for dispatchment from stating Monday next week.
The teachers employer has working around the clock inorder to ensure that the process is completed in good time so as to allow for enough time to deal with deployment of primary teachers to Junior Schools (JS).
Teachers who are currently of age 50 years and above, those with disability and also those under acting position of Head of Institution and Deputy Head of Institution stand high chance of getting promotions.
The appointment letters for promotions for teachers will start being dispatched to various counties as from the start of next week depending on the speed of TSC Human Resource unit.
It is expected that end of March 2023, successful teacher teachers shall have received their promotion letters .
Those who will not be successful will also have have received regret letters.
Teachers were asked to present some documents during interview sessions.

Teacher’s original national ID Card, individual original academic and Professional certificates were needed during verification exercise.t
In addition to this, teachers had to produce analysed individual subject results in either KCPE or KCSE Examinations for the last three years.
Equally,the results had to be certified by TSC County Directors or the Sub County Directors of education.
The promotion will relieve me from the disappointment I’ve undergone while seeing those whom we took loan the same time and used in investment while I used mine to pursue my Degree . Glory to God

So demoralized after attaining higher qualifications. Was posted in 2012 but have still stagnated in C1. Now teaching Jss with no extra coin!
C5 cohorts in administration, are they ever mentioned in promotion processes or theirs is at the mercies of God? Who will ever care for the poor cohort or even speak up for them? Some at certificate level, others at Diploma, degrees, masters and PhD respectively. Despite that, some even with degrees heading non JSS schools and those with certs heading JSS schools. Let the leadership be fair, just and consider this. Also, let promotion processes be fair for all cohorts. As it’s now, C5 cohort has no place in promotional plans. Kindly enable them also progress
I a appreciate tsc for giving me a promotion to C2 after waiting for 10 years ,am eagerly waiting for the letter .my colleagues are heads and deputies ,those we studied with bachelor’s by 2014.let me believe that it is God working .

Wonderful to be among the few but why delay to dispatch the mails in advance! Some of us we come from far a way,leaving e family to be joined the soonest possible! Could be by the time we are gone is when invited to collect it,inconveniencing a lot!. Others have received a notification for assurance,may be those who placed a claim are considered valid for nullification the previous list!Others who are corrupt to mitigate and be placed the place of their choice. Delayance has consequences! This was proved so by Matiang’i the then CS education 2011 only one school had an A the whole of the nation,did not offer a room for compromising and discussion! Instance and immediacy creates confidence and integrity.My colleagues were with in the campus are county directors, sub county directors, CSO,head teacher’s, deputies! Am just caught in this dawn and delayed!They had since 2008,12,14,17,,21,23. Here I am 24.Be humane! Back date!
Kindly let the tsc consider trs who are teaching in Jss ,have the qualifications but have not yet received deployment letters to Jss.yet they applied for consideration.
I have been inC3 from 2010.
Very desperate n am retiring in 2025.
