TSC Announces Jobs Open for Applications Closing 21st Feb, 2024

Teachers Service Commission TSC has  issued an announcement on administrative jobs available following existence of vacant posts in the last two years, deadline February 21st 2024.

The positions advertised are those whose holders either resigned, others left service after attaining mandatory retirement age as well as others rising from new positions which were created in the Career progression  guidelines CPG.

The teachers employer in an advert has called  for all this qualified,with  experience, being results-oriented and  highly motivated interested  individuals to  apply for these positions.

According to the commission, the vacancies available are those in ;

  • the directorate of teacher discipline management
  • staffing
  • human resources and development,
  • Internal Auditor
  • Information Communication and Technology
  •  13 deputy directors in teacher management positions.

The commission has further declared vacant positions in:

  • deputy director
  • teacher Management -applicants to be in grade 5 these requires Deputy principals and senior masters.

The rest of the above positions only require teachers to be in at least a deputy headteacher position in Grade 3.

Note that the above positions advertised will be on a contract basis and the commission has encouraged people living with disability to  submit their applications too.

All the interested applicants have until February 21, 2024 at close of business to submit their applications for the advertised TSC Jobs .

In 2023  January  TSC former Director of Staffing madam  Rita Wahome resigned after serving in the position for four years and four months under the commission.

She left her duties taken over by Antonina Lentoijoni who serves as the  deputy director in the directorate of staffing.

According  to the commission,Lentoijoni has been performing TSC  duties in an acting capacity heading the directorate for almost a year now.

TSC  got tension earlier this year after a number of senior officers resigned .

Among those who resigned include Isaac Nganga,who is the director Internal Auditor and Charles Gichira,who served as the director ICT.

In addition, Dr Julius Olayo, who served as the Director Human Resource Management and Development also  resigned from the commission’s secretariat after rendering services for three years.
