Students Shocker as KUCCPS Application portal collapses Again

It is a mother moment of frustration for Students seeking placement in tertiary institutions as the Kenya Universities and Central Colleges placement Service KUCCPS Portal collapsed.

According to The standard , several students have raised concerns about being unable to access the system for several days .

Others also claim that they have been unable to follow up on the status of their applications.

Thes students  now have expressed their unsatisfactorily remarks claiming that the system has interfered with their efforts to prepare to join the institutions of higher learning.

As per to reports, Several students who had camped in some cyber cafes in Murang’a town said that  the system had remained unresponsive since it was opened.

According to some applicants, the portal  improved on Saturday afternoon but then  was able to serve all those who were doing applications.

 

As a result, the several applicants are now in a panic, indicating  that they had only about la few days remaining  for the portal to close before choosing their preferred courses and institutions.

Most students have claimed that since the KUCCPS portal was opened last Thursday, it has indeed remained inaccessible.

Several  of those interviewed complained that they have made multiple efforts to log in but the portal is down.

Following the above challenges, most  parents  have urged the government to consider extending the application deadline.

More reports also indicate that several  students have been forced to wait for long hours in cyber cafes in Homa Bay and Siaya towns.

The students complained that the system could not allow them to enter their credentials.

Several students indicated that they have been in the cybers for five hours,but they  have not succeeded because the portal has technical issues.

Several cyber operators in Homa Bay town have also decried losing customers over the hitch from kuccps portal failure.
