The Kenya universities and Colleges placement services (Kuccps) has opened the 2024 portal for applications for placement to various institutions of higher learning for KCSE Form four leavers of 2000 to 2023
The government through the Kenya University and College Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) released the long awaited announcement on February 8, 2024.
In the announced, all the Form four leavers who took the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams between 2000 and 2023 are the target audience for this to make applications.
According to kuccps, the individuals who did not enroll in higher education institutions during this time , but having met the minimal university entrance grade,the announcement gives them a special chance.
The 2024 Kuccps application procedure for KCSE Form four leavers is also given.
However, these learners must incur the new government instituted charges.
With those students who applied before while still enrolled in Secondary schools must pay Ksh1,000.
Those who are making new/ fresh application or those who did not apply earlier must pay Ksh1,500.
The directive from kuccps indicate that the Form four leavers are also required to submit their Birth Certificate Number plus their corresponding KCSE and KCPE Index Numbers .
The above details are part of the application procedure.
Kuccps considers the above particulars necessary in order to start the application procedure for courses at universities and colleges.
Kenyan government has been commended for taking such an important move to implement this plan to make it easier for those who match the requirements academically but were not able to continue their education beyond the designated time frame.

Students should log in into the KUCCPS_Official portal
Students seeking for placement for students seeking to join Universities, to Tvet institutions, to Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC),to Teachers Training Colleges (TTC) and Open University of Kenya ( OUK) can apply as well.
All the targetted include the KCSE class of 2023 and Form 4 leavers ( the KCSE 2000 to 2022 students)
