Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has released the most recent entry requirements for enrollment to certificate , diploma and Higher diploma Courses.
For those willing to enroll in KMTC to pursue a certificate program, one must have at least a C- on their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinations (KCSE) and C- in cluster subjects.
To persue a diploma program under KMTC , every willing applicants must have earned a minimum grade of C plain and above C and above in cluster subjects.
Individuals are also free to upgrade KMTC courses upon meeting qualification in the relevant field.
1. For Enrollment to KMTC higher diploma course : duration and prerequisites
Under this , the duration of this upgrade training program is one year.
2. KMTC diploma course and its prerequisites are crucial criteria for admission;
Interested candidates must have a mean grade of KCSE C (or equivalent).
Additionally, all interested applicants must also have completed an acceptable combination of other subjects, which include English, Kiswahili, biology, and other biological sciences.
They must also have a C in mathematics, chemistry, physics or any other physical sciences.
3.KMTC entry requirements and the amount of time needed to complete the upgrade to certificate.
Individuals wanting to have necessary grade in the necessary fields which takes at least have two years of work experience.

One is required to have a cumulative grade of C-minus or higher along with the right combination of other subjects.
This course takes two and half years to complete.
