Parents and teachers staged a protest  condemning the government steps of transferring  all learners demanding answers as to why the Ministry of Education was yet to establish a section for junior secondary learners.

All the teachers in this school school vowed to start a go slow until the Ministry of Education resolves the matter.

Kaptumo Primary is duly registered by the Ministry of Education but it was yet to receive any grade 7 and 8 students.

While speaking on the matter, another  teachers revealed  that learners who were initially set to join JSS were yet transfered to a neighboring school to the Ministry for allocating JSS textbooks to the school but so far there are no learners to use them.

The teacher said that textbooks from the Ministry of Education were sent to the  this school.

He added  that the government sends books directly to Kaptumo Primary School and already  have stamps.

They expressed their worry  getting books but with no students.

Speaking on the dilemma faced, a parent vowed to travel from Baringo to Nairobi to the Ministry of Education offices to enquire why the issue was yet to be resolved.
