KNEC Lists Guidelines for Registration of 2024 KPSEA Exams

Kenya National Examination Council ( KNEC ) has now officially Kicked off the registration process for the KILEA KPSEA 2024 exams.

KNEC Registration for students preparing  to sit for Kenya intermediate Level Assessment (KILEA) and Kenya Primary School Assessment (KPSEA) started on January 29th and will run all the way to March 29th, 2024.

Account to the KNEC CEO David Njengere,all the school administrators should ensure the fresh registration of all Grade 6 learners in readies for the assessment.

The above assessment was implemented in 2023.

While releasing the notice to the public, Njengere indicated that registration would be conducted through the KPSEA Registration portal.

He further insisted that the KNEC Registration portal will close on March 29, 2024 adding that there will be no provision for late registration of candidates once the portal is closed.

According to the examination calendar signaled by KNEC, the KPSEA and KILEA examinations will be conducted from October 28th to 31st , 2024.

All the learners registering for KILEA currently the Intermediate Level learners will be transitioning to the Pre-vocational Level.

Njengere also emphasized that all the  candidates presented for the assessment must be eligible learners who have been actively studying in their respective schools.

Those who will be realized to have submitted registration of fictitious candidates would be considered assessment malpractice and tough measures will be taken against them.

Among the severe actions will be de-registration of the school as a KNEC examination center among others.

As a result, every School administrator is  urged to edit candidates’ biodata(personal information) where necessary to ensure the accuracy of registration data for all candidates.

For those who may wish to have  learner transfers ,knec boss clarified that the transfer of candidates is only permitted during the registration period.

Finally all the eligible KPSEA candidates must be initially registered in the Grade 6 portal to receive an Assessment Number.

Learner’s personal Assessment number is a mandatory requirement for registration.
