KMTC Medical Courses for Students with KCSE D & D- Grades

Student learners who wish to pursue a medical courses and have achieved a KCSE mean Grade of either  D+ or D and D- have their dreams valid.There are  good medical schools under KMTC which accept these grades to enroll students.

List of KMTC medical courses for  D Plain grades

Some of the courses you can persue with D plain in KMTC include;
  • Certificate course in Dietetics and Nutrition:

The Minimum KCSE requirements is D plain and above.

Some subject grades  listed here are needed to join this course:

      • Have English a D plain.
      • Have Biology a D plain.

In addition, one is required to have a minimum grade of D plain in one of the following subjects:

      • In Chemistry.
      • In Mathematics.
      • In Home Science.
      • In Physics.
      • In Agriculture.
      • In General Sciences.
  • Certificate in Operation Theatre Technology:

Inorder for one to qualify for enrollment in this course, a minimum grade of D plain and above in KCSE is required.

One can enroll  for this course at Mathari School of Nursing (Nyeri County) and Nyahururu Kenya Medical Training College.

  • Certificate course in Gerontology and Palliative Care

Inorder for one to  enroll in this course, one has to have a mean grade of D plain and above in KCSE is required.

Mathari Hospital School of Nursing is among those institutions which offer this course.

  • Certificate in Counselling Psychology:

Minimum KCSE requirements for enrollment is a mean grade D plain.

TVET CDACC is the examining body for this course.

  • Certificate course  in Foundations in Community Health:

Requirement is a Minimum KCSE entry of  D plain.

It is a suitable course for applicants who wish to be involved in offering basic community health services and becoming Community Health Assistants (part of UHC).

Studies duration for this course is 6 months,and a fee of KSH 32,500.

 

KMTC D- Courses entry requirements 

Some of the courses you can do include;
  • Certificate course in Health Support Service:

Entry is a KCSE minimum of D minus.

Interested students can enrolled in this course will be examined by NITA (National Industrial Training Authority).

The course  is offered at Outspan Medical College (Nyeri).
