Did you Score grade D+ (plus) in your Kenya certificate of Secondary Education and still worried on which course to do, here is a list of KMTC courses your can persue.

The Kenya Medical Training College a body in Kenya  dedicated to training medical professionals under various medical courses  which range  from higher diploma to short courses.

Note that Joining  KMTC has minimum KCSE requirement for courses  which differ from one program to another.

KCSE requirement for joining a Diploma course is a C plain while the lowest is D plus for lower courses.

This article focuses on all D+ courses in KMTC and their minimum subject’s requirements.

Here is a list of medical courses with D+ offered at KMTC.

  1. Certificate course in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  2. Certificate course  in health records and information technology (which is an in service category).

The Kcse Minimum subjects requirements for certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics at KMTC are as follows

  1. Have a D+ in English or Kiswahili.
  2. Have a D plain in biology.
  3. Have a D plain in chemistry.
  4. Have a D in any one of the following: Home Science, Physics, Agriculture, Mathematics, General Science.

The minimum subject requirements for certificate in health records and information technology (in service category)

  1. Have a D+ in English or Kiswahili.
  2. Have a D- in Mathematics.

NOTE; The above course targets those working in the records department but have no professional qualifications.
