The government through the Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced 684 jobs across various ministries and state departments.
In a notice seen by teachersdaily.co.ke which was published by PSC on Tuesday made public indicated that qualified and interested Kenyans have until February 13, 2024, to submit their applications to the commission.
The commission CEO said that all interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the commission’s website or jobs portal

Part of the government jobs in public service descriptions are as follows;
1.State Department for Internal Security and National Administration seeking to recruit at least 22 county commissioners/secretaries administration and a deputy director, Kenya School of Adventure and Leadership.
2.Immigration and Citizen Services Department seeks to recruit secretary for Refugee Affairs, Five directors of Civil Registration Services, 17 deputy directors of Civil Registration Services and 80 assistant directors of Civil Registration Services.S
3.State Department for Correctional Services – Kenya Prisons Services wishes to hire a deputy Commissioner General of Prisons.
4. National Treasury, the Livestock Department and Defence departments are also recruiting a Director of General Public Debt Management,thd Director of Veterinary Services and Director/Senior Research Fellow/Senior lecturer respectively.
5.State Department for Industry needs 135 director and assistant directors’ job vacancies are up for grabs in various departments.
6.Under the public Service and Delivery Management, 43 positions are open for application.

7. Under the Labour and Skills development department there are 182 positions in different departments to fill.
8. Under the State Department for Parliamentary Affairs , there are 22 open vacancies,
9. Petroleum Department is seeking to fill the position of Commissioner for Petroleum.
10. Under the Mining department, there are some 167 jobs are up for grabs in various departments.
12.with the State Department for Irrigation , it is also seeking to fill the position of Secretary, the Land Reclamation,the Climate Resilience and Irrigation Water Management.
