TSC Teachers Annual Leave Allowance Payment Rates for January 2024

Teachers currently serving Under the  Teachers Service Commission (TSC) will be paid their annual leave allowance end of this month.

TSC pays teachers the above allowance once in each year at a rate based on their job groups.The money attracts an extra Pay to the teachers.

Leave allowance is one among the many which teachers are entitled to  among them a thirty days annual leave which can be granted during school holidays.

Every  teacher who is  an employer  of the Commission is entitled to a maximum of thirty days annual leave.

During this period, the teacher gets full pay in respect of each calendar year worked irrespective of the terms as well as the conditions of service.

Tsc also indicates that  annual leave shall only be taken during school holidays and not be accumulated to be carried forward from year to year.

Teachers are allowed to make an  application for annual leave which is fin online and only during school holidays.

Much of the details on such a leave is  set out in Twenty Seventh Schedule of the TSC Code of Regulations for teachers (CORT)

Back since  December,1, 2021 ,tsc  automated the leave application and approval process and migrated the same to an online system as well.

Currently, all the  teachers on TSC payroll plus those under interns are required henceforth to apply for leave using the online platform.
